What?

Mini Jaffa is a summer evening incident hike and overnight camp for Scouts (10-14), based around Compton Scout HQ in Berkshire.

Why?

Adventure, Fun, Challenge and Adventure (again!)

MiniJaffa is based on a long-established event "Jaffa Cake" which is aimed at Explorer Scouts (14-18). Decades ago (when your parents were Scouts) this event was aimed at Venture Scouts (16-20) and was originally sponsored by McVites, hence the name; this too is based around Compton and is an incident hike at night.

When?

This year's event will take place on Saturday, 3 July 2010.

How?

To register, Scout Leaders should contact the event organisers. More

Each participating Scout should download and complete a consent form too. PDF

Where?

The event's HQ is at Compton in West Berkshire. More

Incidents will be at locations in the surrounding countryside. The exact grid references will be revealed on the day!

Who?

The event is open to any invested Scout in Berkshire. Scouts from outside Taceham Hundred will need a leader to camp over too.

The event is organised by the Scout section in Taceham Hundred District and is a team event .
